Summer 2023 was definitely the summer of Barbie! The “Barbie” movie rocked the box office left, right, and sideways, earning a billion dollars in its first 17 days in theaters. With director Greta Gerwig becoming the first woman to have a sole directing credit on a film of this magnitude, “Barbie” officially took a place in the history books.
The movie was a trip down Memory Lane for people (like me) who grew up playing with Barbie dolls. It was also prime meme-making material. Here are a few of the best.

21. It’s best not to get involved in the controversy and just enjoy the nostalgia. And the pretty people.
I’m totally here for a Barbie in the midst of an existential crisis! And let’s face it, I’d watch Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling read the dictionary. They can visit my mojo dojo casa house anytime they want.
