Someone recently took a picture of me standing with three friends. When I looked at it later, I realized that the angle of the shot made it look like my friend’s arm was mine, so I was folding the whole group into a gigantic hug with my extra-long ape arms. We all laughed when we saw it, and it reminded me of all the funny shots on the “Confusing Perspective” subreddit.

Introverts often get a bad rap. They get criticized for preferring to stay home, needing time time to recharge after social interactions, and generally just preferring their own company over other people’s. Honestly, can you blame them?

As someone who identifies as an “extroverted introvert,” I can relate to all of the “shy” people of the world! Being around others is exhausting, and there’s nothing wrong with keeping oneself to oneself. Here are some memes to drive that point home.

21 Barbie Movie Memes That Make Today The Best Day Ever.

Summer 2023 was definitely the summer of Barbie! The “Barbie” movie rocked the box office left, right, and sideways, earning a billion dollars in its first 17 days in theaters. With director Greta Gerwig becoming the first woman to have a sole directing credit on a film of this magnitude, “Barbie” officially took a place in the history books.

The movie was a trip down Memory Lane for people (like me) who grew up playing with Barbie dolls. It was also prime meme-making material. Here are a few of the best.
